Wow, it's been a while since I've updated! A week or so back, I was up at my friend's cottage in Muskoka, it was a lot of fun. One of the highlights was waterskiing. It was surprisingly difficult, but worth it when I finally got up.

Last week I was horrified when I saw my first s-s-school supply commercial of the summer (darn you Five-Star binders!) For godness sake! it's not even August yet!

Hooray for Wal*Mart! A couple days back, I got X-Men (live-action) on VHS for three dollars!

It's exactly one week untill my birthday! (August 1st!) and I've already had one celebration! I was at Grandma's house last night, and we had a cake in honour of my birthday.

Gah, my parents have banished me from the family room because they're watching Secret Window. It's pathetic, they think it would be "too scary" for me *roles eyes*

My mom's like "you know, if you get bored of the internet,(yeah right)you can always read". It really isn't that ridiculous of a statement, but I found it quite amusing for some reason.

Earlier this evening my parents and I were watching Jeopardy. This guy named Ken is a 29 day champ! He's won almost a million dollars! He's really quite amazing at it! I really wouldn't want to be up against him, because the chances of beating him are incredibly slim. I mean, almost 60 people have gone up against him and not been able to beat him! He's become quite a celebrity from it, he's on Regis and Kelly on Wednesday!

Speaking of Regis and Kelly, I was flipping by this morning, and they had this look a like thing. There were about 15 young women who claimed they looked like Kelly Ripa, but in actuality most of them just had blonde hair, and were about her age. There was one Regis look-a-like and one Gelman wannabe. Neither of them really looked like Regis or Gelman, but at least it was more interesting, because there weren't 15 other pathetic "look a likes"

And while we're on the topic of talk shows, I was watching part of On Air With Ryan Seacrest. One of his guests was a 13-year old girl named Jojo (what is she, a monkey?) She was a singer, and to give her credit, was pretty good. But I never would have pegged her as thirteen, try 16. Apperantly she's pretty popular, though I've never heard of her. She toured with Usher, and has a very succesful album. My beef with her was her single. Sure, it was catchy enough, but it was all about break-up and heart break. She claims she's been through it all, but she was acting like she was actually in a serious relationship where her boyfriend was abusive or something. But with the way tween dating is these days, I wouldn't be very surprised if he was.

The amazing race on tuesday was A-W-S-O-M-E!! They have such creative teams. The whole "dating" teams get boring after a while, it's nice to have other forms of relationships!

One thing you should know, (or maybe you already do) is that I'm a HUGE fan of Canadian Idol! Last nights episode turned out quite well (in my opinnion) Shane is awsome! He and his voice remind me of Clay Aiken, and I'm a very big fan of Clay. But I also really like Kalan Porter, he's also an awsome singer. So I don't know who to vote for in the final 10 (isn't it so awful!)I'm leaning towards Kalan, but I think the first performance will really affect my vote. I also like Teresa a lot. She's a really good singer too. But my mom likes her the best, so she'll probably be voting for her. But yeah, I'll probably vote for Kalan!

Oooh, I was searching for some stuff on Kalan, and I came across idolforums and this one person was posting these really cool pics of him when he was younger and in concerts and stuff.

Right now I'm looking for sound bites for my MSN. When certain people sign in, a different sound is played. My cousin was wondering why his didn't have that, and now I think I know why. I downloaded Messenger Plus! before MSN 6.0, and most of the special stuff from Plus! stayed. I'm guessing he didn't download Plus! first. Here's some sites where you can find good sound bites:

I'm very excited because the amazing race 5 starts tonight! Unfortunately I only caught on to it at the beginning of last season! I missed three whole seasons! It really is an awsome show! It's good that it's on in the summer, because other than Canadian Idol, there's hardly anything else to watch!

Well, my cousin has been bugging me to update my blog, so this one's for you Brendan!

I saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix (finally!) and it was awsome! I especially liked Lupin, he's always been one of my favourite characters. Another thing I always liked about the third book, is that Hermione plays a much bigger role in it than she does in CoS. In CoS, she was "frozen" for half the movie, where in PoA, she plays a fairly major role, especially towards the end.

I saw it with my parents, and they both really liked it. My mom thought that the part were Hermione punched Malfoy wasn't necisary, but I thought it was quite satisfying.

I thought the new guy who played Dumbledore (his name has escaped my mind) wasn't as good as Richard Harris, but was a good replacement.
